Sometimes our clients require our support right away. In those cases, we provide remote support, which allow us to control the computer that is having issues remotely via an Internet connection. In those cases the client needs to manually install the software that makes possible the remote control, and contact us to provide us two pieces of information: The name you assigned to the computer in the installation process, and the password you assigned to the computer in the installation process (If you did not assign a password to the computer, then the username and password of an account in the system).

For your peace of mind, these guidelines are followed by our company in these types of support:
- We access your computer with the only purpose of doing the diagnosis and/or repair that you asked us to do.
- We will ask you to remove the software for remote control after we have done the work you asked us to do. This cannot be automated, and it cannot be done while we are remotely connected. For your convenience, we have included a
step-by-step guide to uninstall the remote-control program below.
- You can watch in your computer screen all the clicks and events that are taking place while we remotely work on your computer.
- We usually provide you feedback to what we are doing with your computer, via chat, phone, or through another form of communication, so you can still ask questions or do suggestions while we work remotely.

- You will see something like this:
- Write down the description for your computer that you will use (we will need that)and continue by clicking that you received the address securely:
- Once you click it, you may receive a security warning:
- You may also have an alert like the one below:
- Once you continue with the warning, or the alert, you will see the progress of the installation process
- When the application is fully downloaded to your computer, the installation will start:
- You will have to agree to the Terms and Conditions of use to be able to use the software:
- You can choose a Typical or customized setup. We will walk you through the questions that you may find in each of them
- The customized setup lets you change the name you determined to start the process, you do not need to change it at this time
- If you connect to the Internet via a
proxy server, you can specify it here.
- You will see the progress of the installation process:
- If you use a
firewall program, such as ZoneAlarm, one or more alerts might appear in your system, remember to allow the program to connect to the Internet, or the installation will fail.
- You might get different type of alerts, but remember to allow the program to connect to the Internet
- Hopefully, the installation process will give you a confirmation that the software has been installed
- Once the installation has been completed, you will see the window of the program with all the options:
- Once the icon of the program is in the taskbar, near the clock, you know the program is working, and the options are available when you click the icon with the other button (
context menu).
- In the window of the program you have options to share your desktop with someone else:
- You can also share a file with someone else:
- The Options section in the window of the program will give you different options for the functioning of the program
- The about section in the window of the program will give you the general information of the program

Step-by-Step Guide to uninstall the Remote-Control Software:
First you open the control panel of your computer, via My Computer, or Start Button and then selecting Settings
You will see something like this:
Find the LogMeIn program in the list, please consider that sometimes the list takes a while in loading. When you find it click Remove
Confirm your desire to remove the program
You will see the uninstall process taking place
If you use a
firewall program, such as ZoneAlarm, one or more alerts might appear in your system, remember to allow the program to remove the drivers and services, or the installation will fail.
You will have a final confirmation that the program was removed.
